A narrative dance game in which an exiled non-binary sun strips to earn money for a new face. Three friends – an Iranian-Swedish elephant, an Esfahani dragon and a Persian-wannabe lion – visit this strip club in Beirut, and step by step their bodies start to alter. Stripper Sun explores how bodies in exile negotiate joy, desire, and the possibility of remaking themselves under new skies. The animations draw on Iranian social dance and miniature painting, accompanied by music inspired by Tehrangeles pop and reggaeton.
